Happy Thanksgiving! This is a fun, delicious, and easy treat to make.
PILGRIM HAT COOKIES INGREDIENTS
DIRECTIONS Microwave chocolate and oil in a microwave safe bowl, uncovered, on HIGH 30 – 60 seconds or until melted. Place cookies, chocolate-side up, on a medium sheet pan. Dip each marshmallow in chocolate until coated. Place marshmallows over centers of cookies and refrigerate for 20 minutes until chocolate sets. Fill sandwich size ziploc bag with icing, snip off the very end of one corner of the bag, and decorate with a “buckle” for the hat. Notes: * We used a toothpick to dip the marshmallows in the chocolate. * Be careful to snip off only a small corner of the bag for better control of the frosting. We are still missing quite a few permission slips. If we can get these turned in, we'll make a seasonal treat toward the end of the week. We will continue to work with measuring equivalents, abbreviations, and tools throughout the week.
